Sucking on Tits.

What is the sexual appeal of being a baby again? In bed (sexually speaking): we sucks on tits, make cutesy baby talk and feed each-other by the spoon.  Don't get me wrong, I cannot say that I do not partake and/or enjoy-but it is quite odd to think about.

Dear Diary,

Dear Diary,
I got messy today.
Quite messy indeed.

Lemon Bars with a Twist [Vegan]

As the new quarter begins, Spring rolls around the corner: I start baking.
So this means Vegan Lemon Bars.

But it would not be a dish of mine if I did not alter the recipe some.
My man calls it:
"Savita: A measurement which is a spicy, lil' pinch and nibble. The perfect touch to add to any dish. (It is quite rare however, and there are even limited supply. But not to worry because I have the source itself.)"
The recipe is as follows:
Original
Crust:

  • 1/2 c. non-hydrog, non-dairy, at room temp.
  • 1/4 c. confec. sugar
  • 1 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
Filling:

  • 1/2 c. silken tofu (soft or firm)
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • zest from 2 lemons
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice
  • 2 T. unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • confec. sugar, sifted

Altered
Crust:
  • 1/2 c. Earth Balance
  • 1/4 c. Raw Turbinado Sugar
  • 1 c. unbleached wheat flour
Filling:

  • 1 package Silken Tofu (I used firm, but would suggest soft for a creamier experience)
  • 1 c. Raw Turbinado Sugar
  • Zest from 4 lemons
  • 2/3 c. lemon juice (4 lemons)
  • 2 T. flour
  • 2 egg substitute (this is a replacer for the starch as a thickening agent, beat for longer to add fluff)
Topping:

  • Tons of walnuts (chop finely)
  • Raspberry glaze*
  • Confectioner's sugar to aesthetic appeal
  • Some lemon swirls for garnish
  • Coconut shreds
  • A birthday candle: Happy Birthday Noah Miska Garber!
*Raspberry glaze: Add about 1 package of raspberries, and mix with water and brown sugar with a touch of agave. MIX!! Spread thinly over the fill, after you let stand the 'lemon bars.'

Fairness

I seem to measure life in fairness.
What isn't fair, I fix.
Really, what I think is fair is quite subjective, but nonetheless I do it.

I often find myself comparing my life to somebody else's, again, ridiculous.
The sad part about it is that by delineating it in my head, tattling on my older sis for not sharing, the problem will be solved.  Now, as Mommy lives hours away- all I do is count the ways in which things aren't fair.  Add, divide and multiple the reasons upon reasons the certain situation isn't fair, or what have you.

But this doesn't happen in real life.

Upon the news of an ailment of one of my dearest, I quickly began calculating..and I did not stop. It straight up (yeah, street talk) does not add up. Thus is not fair, and therefore needs to be fixed straight away.

Life isn't fair, That's why there are odd numbers.

Dynamics

I had one of my best friends visit me this week. She met my entire family, yikes! Her impression of my family was quite interesting, to say the least.

Yeah, I guess we are a group of funky individuals. Yet somehow, it works

Featured to the right is my my brother and sissy dearest. Fierce group of Russians if I've eva' seen 'em.

A Thank You Letter,

Dear Flamboyant Men,

Oh how I do not have the words to show my appreciation for you, but man am I grateful. If it is not competing for boys that makes our friendship so great, it is the stories you tell me.

We can cuddle and have it be completely platonic, even if you fondle my boobs, you're gay-so it's ok! You have swagger, and style..the best duo to land any man and leave them wanting more.

Thank you for our night of one-on-one dancing. Quite the party.

Sincerely,

Rats.

Plain and simple, they give me the jeepers-creepers.
Now, they are co-inhabiting all of my homes.
Yay.

The consequences and scary thoughts,

My nape so tender,

That caress each centimeter

Tingly with goosebumps,

On the branches so sweet,

Have your ever been to the Flea Market?

First off, it costs $2 to even get in...But goodness, you should go because it is worth it!

You could spend hours and hours there, searching and searching, and when you finally find it, (it being the supposed item that you desperately needed) -oh the glorious day.

At the Flea Market, you can find everything you could possibly ever need, from the silk scarf I got for $3, platanos fritos with Valentina and lime, to my new and improved bike light.

Plus, I got hit on, someone seriously asked me for my number...at the fricken Flea Market...but on that note, it would be a cute date idea..

to set the tone.

My name is Savanna.
I am five foot three to the dot.
I live in a cozy house with four of my bestest friends.
I love to bake.
and this is the beginning to my blog.
Enjoy.
