Suck Ass.

A common trend that I have noticed about myself:

When the end of anything is coming, instead of dealing with an issue-
Instead of talking about your emotions-
Rather than communicating directly?
Skipping the saying good-bye...

My answer?
Walk-away.

So my advice, as walking-away is not an option any more...
Suck ass.

This is my new solution to life and all your fucking curve-balls.

I don't know what it is about people..but they think that I can just take anything that they throw at me. I am human too, I might put up a wall to protect myself, act really tough and not give anyone the time of day..but guess what?

I might be the most sensitive person ever. I cry when you are not looking and sometimes when you comment on the things that I say, how I speak, or how I look and body language, I want to hide under my covers. But being me, I try and take it. Sometimes sucking ass isn't enough.

Emotions, you overwhelm me.

The end of the year is coming, and I am heading off-Leaving. The end.
To be honest a lot of this is making me want to leave for forever.
It's simply more simple.

Comics

A Softer World is a comic that was created by Emily Horne and Joey Comeau so that people would recognize them as important artistic geniuses.
The end, and enjoy!

Loving your interpretation of La Virgin de Guadalupe. Something on the lines of social equality, the re-definition of women's role, combating the patriarchal structure of Mexico's state and religion and feminism. Yikes, all the above gives me goose-bumps.
Pleasant surprise this morning when my boo's best friend walked in..seems to be the theme this week for everyone in my house..

How exciting, now you can catch up on the news as I procrastinate..well what I find interesting anyways:

Next up, a gender and sex issue, yikes it get even better. A sweet lil' Canadian couple choses to keep their baby's sex a secret, allowing for the lil' kid to grow up and choose for them-self the 'gendered identity.'

Way to go Canadian couple, you rock my socks, but not as much as you rocked each-other's when you got knocked up and got pregos. None the less, way to be parents and support your child for their well-being.

Canadian padres said to reporters that withholding the baby's sex is a 'tribute to freedom'. Oh, y'all so sweet, shucks ;) Have a great life lil' kiddo that will now be scarred because your parents put you on tabloids at such a fricken young age. No worries though, because they DID NOT PUT YOUR SEX!

But really, I know this sounds very negative, but I think you guys are great.
Ms Witterick, 38, and Mr Stocker, 39, have also been criticised for the manner in which they are raising their two sons Jazz, five, and Kio, two. The boys are encouraged to choose their own clothing and hairstyles - even if that means wearing girls' clothes - and to challenge gender norms. Jazz wears his hair in long braids, and the boys are "almost exclusively assumed to be girls," Mr Stocker told the Toronto Star

Oba!

Honduras: Ousted President Manuel Zelaya returns

Thousands greet Manuel Zelaya, the ex-president of Honduras ousted by the military in 2009, as he returns in a deal to end the country's political crisis. What is this? My oh my, in the last two weeks of Amurikah, and heading to Honduras we have this! Yikes (how exciting!!!) Slash Project, please do not get cancelled.

For those that are not brushed up on the happening in Honduras (I was in Nicaragua when this happened...so no worries if not.) President Zelaya was forced into exile in a coup d'etat or golpe de estado back in summer 2009. Zelaya did not follow the Supreme Court's order to cancel a non-binding vote on changing the constitution.

The said constitution change was aimed to removing what is the current one-term limit of presidency. Which, would have made it quite easy for his re-election. This however was not something that the military liked. Thus when Zelaya insisted that this consultation of the constitution be changed the Congress voted for him to be removed on the grounds of...best part here..
"repeated violations of the constitution and the law", in order to protect law and order.
Well done...I think you've done just that, law and order :)

I am working on a group project, and this is shit.
I hate group projects, nobody does the fucking work!

So the funny part, I am working on Google Docs (which I love and hate as well..)
I try to type in 'beneficial' but I miss the last 'i' after the 'c'. Google Docs underlines this and offers instead: 'boondaggle' thanks Google Doc, you are so helpful.

Panza Power

Last night Juliana and I went to the Panza Palabra over at Oakes. One of our classmates Rosario was organizing the event, and because she will never ever see this: she is SO cool and we both want to be friends with her!

Anywho, the panza was quite ridiculous and funny, in the best way possible. There was this one girl that straight up broke down evolution of the panza and then the anatomy, thanks Ale.

Ju and I even went up for the open mic and did our thang..in retrospect-we should have done our flirting skit..

Panza- a belly, stomach.
Panza Palabra- being damn proud of it!

A Romantic Moment

It's official, there was an attempt made yesterday evening to trade me,
for a big Cuisinart pot.

Pointy Boots

Not satisfied with normal cowboy boots?
Mexican teens and young men are building pointy shoes
with extra-long extensions to flaunt on the dance floor.

Crawling to Yoga

I used to work at this yoga studio in Fairfax, Ca. I pretty much knew everybody by name, and I did have a few favorites students, I won't lie. I am still on the mailer for the studio, and he was highlighted in it..and well, I just thought his quote was so cute and I wanted to share.
"I have so much to be grateful for, and I'm not talking about deep dish pizza made of raw birdseeds. . .  .I am so fortunate to live within walking/biking distance.  Some days I walk over busy, tired and unaware, but after class I feel recharged.  I enjoy the walk home feeling calm and at peace.  Somehow the walk down and back is an important part of my yoga practice.  What I have learned is; the slower I move the more I experience.  Walking is better than bilking , biking is better than driving and driving is better than flying.  One day if you see me crawling to class at least you will know why."

Go Figure

May 5th (Thursday)

it’s a thursday, and I’m a responsible student (teehee) so I probably won’t be celebrating  too hard, which means I haven’t really researched all the fantastic mexican events in the city. I do, however, know that FREE cab rides will be available…
[Re-blogged from a good friend of mine, Andrea Jilot. A little passed its expiration date, but I thought it was worth sharing, or advertising for the Lawyer Firm]

FREE CAB RIDES

Yeah, that’s right kids! It happened on New Years, it happened in St. Patty’s day, and it’ll happen again for Cinco de Mayo. Berg Injury Lawyers apparently want you to get home injury-free, so they’re paying a shit-ton to cater to the bay area’s need to drink and get home (without driving, duh).
Deets:
San Francisco: (Within city limits only) call Luxor (415) 282-4141
Alameda, Oakland, Berkeley: (Within city limits, and home to SF)  call Veterans Cab (800) 281-4488
Rules
  • Rides available from 3pm-3am
  • Cabs must be requested by phone
  • When calling the cab, tell them Berg Injury Lawyers are picking up the tab
  • Rides are not guaranteed for everyone (worth a shot though)
  • Must be picked up at a bar/restaurant (not somebody’s house) and taken straight to your house (or where you’re going to sleep that night)
  • Maximum fare $35, you pay the difference over that
There ya have it. Be safe. [clicks here for more info]
