Dear Lil' Boy 1 & 2,
Did you know how adorable you both are? I am always so excited to come visit El Tablon. You both are always eager to answer every question, you are always grinning with so much joy and most of all, you make a damn good Mano de Derechos. Thanks for helping my girlies out with their charlas, until next week.
Big Hugs, and Hopefully Not So Many Bugs!

Doggies.
There are many different customs that one is exposed to when traveling, kinda the best part. For example, here in Honduras, having a pet is not so common.
Here, the dogs are not fed in our conventional way.
One of my vols. threw up the other day and within minutes the dueño was feeding his dog, and cleaning up the mess! Buen provecho!

What Would You Do for a Choco Risa-
Sometimes when you travel off the beaten track you get cravings for things that remind you of home..Other times when you go traveling off the beaten track you learn to love the little things in life: like Choco Risas..
Well atleast my boys in El Cerrón do, this is our commercial in appreciation to the lil' Risas de Choco..

Dear Soby,
May you grow up in a place where your art is always appreciated. Your manchas are beautiful, and I see you being a role model for your lil' brother that you call Pollo. You are one of the highlights of my week, see you next week Sobs.
Big Hugs,
Savanna

El Tablón
Day 1 on Route and heading into Yamaranguila, the host Municipality to 3 of my 4 communities. El Tablón is home to lots of cows, and so naturally..we went with the host momma to milk the lil' guys.
San Fernando
As I met with the teacher of Kinder, the lil' ones tried to keep quite.
But let's be real, having fun isn't a quite activity...

Fire!
Day Three on Route:
Fire! Fire! Fire!
We were sitting inside and then bam, the sister that lives next door comes running in screaming! There had been a little fire going to burn some trash, and I guess the wind blew it over, and the tree that was near by caught on fire, yikes! We all came running out, and thank goodness that this community has running water...we went to the pila and filled up buckets and more buckets dumping them to put it out. We ended up being able to thank goodness, but won't lie..scared me some.

Survey Complete!
Community Uno: El Tablón
Mainly Catholic community of about 450 people and some 82 families. There is a Primaria, Secundaria and Jardin de Ninos. The host family is amazing, and had vols. in some odd years ago..No electricity, partial water from the tank above (rainwater) and awesome teachers in the school.
Community Dos: El Cerrón
Smaller community, and super spread apart..The host family didn't feed me which I found pretty weird, but I just went to another house and asked for food, so overall good community. Mostly Catholic, and larger sized families, slash everyone is related.
Comunidad Tres: San Fernando
This community has electricity AND running water! Whoever lives in this one will be living quite comfortably. When I got there the Grupo de Mujeres were making pan de trigo to sell around the community, slash SO excited to do focus groups with them. School-wise I will be honest, can I report abuse? Without getting into specifics, the teachers, well one teacher in particiular is not very nice and does not treat the children right. Leaving me in a canundrum, do I approach the teacher, and nothing is done? Do I let it be, and let the children get hurt?
Comunidad Quatro: Chogola
The smallest of the communities, this one is closest to the capital of Intibuca, with a total of 32 families and less than 230 people. The host family is located a 45 hike from the school up the steeepest hill that even cars have difficulty driving up it. Good luck vols.
